Frequently asked questions

Returns

Due to the nature of my small business (I’m a one woman show), all sales of originals and prints are final sale. I do however want you to be happy with your new piece so please let me know if there was any damage in transit! The shipping carrier usually requires photos of damaged packaging and contents to file an insurance claim.

I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service but I am happy to submit a missing package request to USPS if need be.

If you have any concerns, please CONTACT me directly as soon as possible after receiving your order. I do want to be sure you love what you’ve purchased!

Shipping

Original artwork usually ships via USPS insured within a week. Please see details for each piece outlining specific shipping timelines-occasionally a piece (ie: oil) may require longer drying time before shipping.

I try very hard to accurately charge for shipping and insurance on each piece. Occasionally if you order multiple pieces, you may be overcharged slightly. Know that I will always refund shipping overages in excess of a few dollars. This is also true if you place multiple orders- I will combine your orders and refund the shipping overage. I will also never charge you additional shipping if I underestimated shipping and insurance on a piece (which does happen every once in a while)!

In stock prints will ship within 3-5 business days. If I do not have your print in stock or it is a special order size, it will take 1-2 weeks depending on my printer’s current turn around time. I carefully package and ship all prints myself. If you need a print sooner than the time frames listed, please reach out to me and I’ll see what I can do!

International Shipping

At the moment, I ship within the US and to Australia and Canada but please contact me if you live elsewhere and I’ll see if I can add your country. I do ship to some countries through my Etsy shop.

Frequency of New Work Releases

I try to release several new pieces each month! The best way to know when new work will be available is to sign up for emails as I will always email when new pieces are available and you will usually get the chance to shop early. You can follow me on Instagram as well but my email list will always hear first! I also have new work available on the 1st of each month through Nashville Artist Collective (both online and in-store).

Commissions

I am not currently accepting commissions. At this time, I am unable to fit commission work in with my other painting obligations. If I begin accepting commissions in the future, I will post about it on Instagram.

Wholesale

I do offer a 50% discount on art prints with a minimum order of $200. Please email me for more information. I’m unable to offer wholesale pricing on originals at this time.

Will you copy a piece of art that has previously sold?

If it’s a piece I really enjoyed painting, I may consider painting it again. I work almost exclusively from my own reference photos and I do sometimes paint from a photo multiple times. This means I may paint several versions of the same scene but each piece is usually a bit different. No two paintings ever look exactly the same!

Custom Size Prints

I currently offer most of my prints in 5x7 and 8x10. If you are interested in a different size, please contact me and I’ll see if I can accommodate your request! Likewise, I am able to order prints on canvas as well as prints with borders- if this is something you would like please email me.

Artwork Rights

I own all rights to my artwork- originals and prints- under copyright law. I reserve the right to reproduce any of my work including commissions unless the buyer has specifically bought all rights to it. Buyer may not reproduce my work in any way.

Studio Visits

I work from my home and don’t have a dedicated “studio” space at this time. You are always welcome to contact me and we can possibly work out a time to visit.
